Public Information Officers
How to File an RTI Application
An RTI application can be submitted in writing (Hindi, Malayalam or English) to the Public Information Officer at the school address. Applications may also be sent by post or email. A fee of ₹10 is applicable per application as per RTI Act rules (BPL card holders are exempt).
Information Available Under RTI
Citizens may request information regarding school administration, staff details, financial accounts, admission procedures, examination results, infrastructure facilities, government grants received, and any other matter relating to the school's public functions.
Response Time
The PIO will respond to RTI applications within 30 days of receipt. For matters involving life and liberty, the response time is 48 hours. If the request is transferred to another authority, the time limit is 35 days from the date of receipt.
First Appellate Authority
If you are not satisfied with the response from the PIO, you may file a first appeal within 30 days to the First Appellate Authority: District Education Officer, Kozhikode, Kerala.
Second Appeal / Complaint
A second appeal may be filed before the Kerala State Information Commission (KSIC) within 90 days of receiving the first appellate order. Details at: sic.kerala.gov.in
